crises, India is demonstrating its
commitment as a responsible
actor in the international order.
India today is playing a
much greater role in solving
global challenges and shaping
the rules, norms, and processes
that guide these efforts. And this
credibility stems a lot from what
we have been able to achieve at
home. For instance, the way India
has used digital technologies
for development, inclusion,
governance, ease of doing
business, and ease of living,
has become a template for the
world to follow. Be it innovation,
technology, entrepreneurship,
space, health, women
empowerment, social and
financial inclusion, education, or
disaster management, India is
making strides in every realm.
As the G20 President, India is
advocating ‘One World’, in place
of any 'first world' or 'third world'.
In all the initiatives spearheaded
by India, the idea of global
good is deeply inherent. And
this guiding philosophy of
‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ has
led India to not just be the voice
of the Global South but to also
be a party to many multilateral
alliances around the world. A
leading member of the UN, an
oft-invitee to the G7, a member
of the Shanghai Cooperation
Organisation, and a founding
member of the BRICS, I2U2 (India,
Israel, US, UAE), and IBSA (India-
